Surge in child abuse amidst the pandemic in India

The session was very informative and interesting since the participants were interactive and many question relating to child abuse and pocso act qas put forward and the presenter  explained about the it during Pandemic situation. Also she told about the number of  cases been registered in during COVID-19. She explained how a  lawyer should fill the gap to such crime and bring justice so that a  proper legislation will be  enacted, but the judiciary system was not implemented and for the given reason the child abuse has increased in India . The presenter also explained that this type of crime or child abuse or anything related to child must create awareness towards  the society as well as the weaker section, then will the child abuse crime rate decrease .
