Saveetha School of Law hosted the first Model G 20 in Tamil Nadu, which was a two-day conference with the theme "Making Sustainability a Way of Life." On April 28 and 29, 2023, India, which was represented by Saveetha law students, hosted the event.

Many notable guests, including P. Muthukumar, State Government Pleader, and S. John J. Raja Singh, Additional Government Pleader, who were the guests of honor, were present at the event. A board of four people—Arun Karthick.V.A, Mohammed Haroon, Aswanth Sathish, and Ashwad—presided over the event. The gathering was attended by 35 additional outside perticipants from Tamil Nadu in addition to the board of chairmen.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of sustainability and to promote its value in daily life. The conference featured a number of sessions covering various sustainability-related issues, including talks, presentations, and panel discussions by professionals from diverse professions.

Awards were given to the top attendees who had shown exemplary sustainability knowledge and awareness at the conclusion of the event. The board of chairs and the honored guests gave out the awards.

The agreement at the event's conclusion was that sustainability is an important component of our lives and that adopting sustainable practices is crucial to ensuring a better future for both current and future generations.
