Webinar on Non-performing Assets: resolution and recovery, was organised by A. Gladius, final year student, Saveetha School of Law coordinated by faculty, Assistant Prof. Ms. Supraja. N. S. The resource person invited for this session was Advocate Mr. Rishikesh Ramesh, currently working as the Assistant Manager of Resolution team in an Asset Reconstruction Company in Mumbai. He was invited to deliver a lecture on Asset Reconstruction, and non-performing assets in companies. The speaker gave great insights about Non-performing Asset: resolution and recovery, he spoke about insolvency and bankruptcy laws in India and its relevance with asset reconstruction of companies during bankruptcy and winding up. He also addressed the legal implications suffered by the companies during bankruptcy. At the end of the session the speaker clarified the doubts of the participants.
