Recent trends in HR

Special Lecture was organized for Human Resource Management - Basics (NC1602) students on the topic “Recent Trends in HR” on 1st November, 2019 by Ms. A.R. Aruna. Resource person for the session was Abhilash Arul, Regional HR Manager at Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance based at Chennai. Having total of 9 years into HR in the Non Banking Finance Companies, Health Industry and Insurance industry. Having worked in multiple locations of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The speaker spoke about the essential elements of a HR career and included the personal experience from his 9 years of experience. This session was enlightening to students as it gave them insight in to HR field. In the end, the speaker answered the doubts and questions posed by students. Overall, it was a great learning experience for the students as they got opportunity to interact directly with experienced HR professional.
