RECENT TRENDS IN BANKING AND FINANCIAL LAW BY MR.SHYAM PRASAD

MR. Shyamprasad TC, who's currently working as Legal Manager of IDFC Bank, Mumbai had delivered a lecture on the topic RECENT TRENDS IN BANKING AND FINANCIAL LAWS.

 He explained the  legislations covered in the banking sector and later continued to explain the procedures in the banking law also explained the practical aspects of the banking law and described  about the litigation and non litigation side of the banking sector.   He further clarified doubts about symbolic possession and then started to give us recent notifications by the Reserve bank of India. Stopping the proceedings under the SARFAESI ACT until 2020 January and quarterly reports on NPA accounts. He then started to give us his views on works of Banking Ombudsman and also the Fund Divergence. He also gave career guidance to students on how to create opportunities in the banking sector.Overall, it was a very informative and insightful session.
