Pocso Act and Pocso Amendment bill, 2019

The special lecture was conducted on 1.11.2019 at 8 A. M in LH 25 by Asst. Professor Muthamizh Thilagam from SRM law college, chennai. The lecture topic was Pocso Act and Pocso amendment bill, 2019. She explained about the importance of Pocso Act and explained the important provisions of the Act. She had a discussion with the children regarding the latest case laws relating to Pocso. In her lecture, she elaborately explained about the newly amended bill of 2019. She interacted with students and taught them about IPC and CrPc sections related to the act. Over all, the lecture was good and interactive.
