Mechanism of Bail in Non Cognizable and Cognizable offences

Advocate Vrindha Ramesh was the resource person for the webinar. She enlightened us with the basics of Bail under Code of criminal Procedure, 1973. She started the session with the definitions of Bail, Cognizable and Non Cognizable offences.She provided details and essentials of bail, Anticipatory bail and interim Bail with illustration of offences. 

She discussed with us few cases and also provided the limitations of the trial prisoners and other prisoners.The exceptions for Bail applications like offences punishable with death or Life Imprisonment, previous convictions, etc were  explained.
