Law of Wills

A guest Lecture was conducted by Miss. K.Indhu Priya, Practicing Advocate at the honourable High Court of Madras. She delivered a special lecture on the topic "Law of Wills", she also covered the major necessities of Will and the legal procedure for executing the wills. As a part of discussion she compared the law of wills in property law and as well as in family law. The essential part of the lecture is the comparison between the wills from Hindu law and Mohammad Law. She explained how to write the document and also the legal proceedings if any disputes arises in the matter of Will. And finally she explained how to register the Will and gave an awareness about the witnesses. Around 28 students attended the lecture and interacted with the guest faculty and benefitted through this Lecture.
