Labour Issues in India

The special lecture is conducted on the topic 'Labour Issues in India' which highlighted the participation of workforce in productive activities, participation of women in workforce in India and the problems faced by labourers in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Sector. The Sectoral contribution and labour contribution also discussed. The issues like working conditions for the labour, the social security measures and the differences in organized and unorganized sector are identified and realized by the participants and a detailed interaction went on the particular topic. The lecture in interactive in nature and touched most of the labour issues in India.
