Special Lecture was conducted for the Subject Prison Administration and Policy in India under the title 'Institutional and Non Institutional Treatment for the Prisoners in the Prisoners. The Guest Lecturer had started the topic with the general outline about the Institutional and Non- Institutional Treatment. Then she had highlighted various measures, rules and regulations followed inside the Prison. Further given the outline about the classification of the Prisoners and the Benefits available to those categories of the Prisoners in both Prisoners Act 1894 and Model Prison Manual 2003. For the better understanding she had explained the types and theories of Punishments. Then the guest lecturer had highlighted the various measures like Parole, Probation furlough etc., and where and how these kinds of benefits are available to the Prisoners. She further explained about the Model Prison Manual given by the BPR&D in the year 2003. She further given the role played by the NGO in the Prison with live instances. The Guest Lecturer had later interacted with the students about the Criminal justice and the Prison Administration in India with her practical Knowledge.
