On February 3, 2024, Mrs. Gayathri J, Assistant Professor, Department of Labour Law at Saveetha School of Law, organized an industrial visit to International Bakery Products Limited (IBPL), Auro Food Pulichappallam, Vanur taluk, Pondicherry. The Entire Visit in the Manufacturing unit was guided by Rajkumar H.R. Eighteen law students investigated the Auro Food Industry, learning about legal issues, difficulties in the Food Production, Safety Precautions taken, bridging the gap between theory and practical application. The visit focused on manufacturing processes, quality control, as well as raising awareness on the, The Industrial Disputes Act, Indian Maternity Benefit Act and regulatory frameworks in the Food Production sector. This hands-on experience provided students with a thorough understanding of the legal challenges and compliance requirements in Food Production Sector.
