IMPORTANCE OF HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY

Webinar  topic is on “ IMPORTANCE OF HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY”, which was taken by Dr.S.NARAYANAMOORTHI. He is  working as a HOD( Department of  Mechatronics engineering)in RVS Technical  Campus in Coimbatore. 

The speaker spoke about the Importance and the effectiveness of Health Insurance Policy in the society as Health insurance is an insurance product which covers medical and surgical expenses of an insured individual and It reimburses the expenses incurred due to illness or injury or pays the care provider of the insured individual directly.He also explained the method of applicability of Health insurance policy in both private and government sectors. He further gave the brief introduction about the premium amount of sanctioning the loan for Health and medical allowances. He explained the various initiatives taken by the government such as  Ayushman Bharat,Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Insurance Scheme,Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS),Employees’ State Insurance Scheme,Karunya Health Scheme.,etc. 

This topic was taken to explain the effectiveness and impact of Health Insurance Policy because the lack of awareness about this topic creates mismanagement in the society.
