The resource person explained about the intellectual property rights and its importance for development of Indian economy.  He explained about the rights that has been provided for the owners of intellectual property and its importance. 

Furthermore, he also explained ways to  protect the exclusive rights provided by the Geographical Indication and credits given to them for their work.
