An overview of Research and its implications

Special lecture was delivered by Dr. P. Mathuraswamy, Associate Professor, Jeppiaar Engineering College, Chennai on 1.11.2019. Dr. Mathuraswamy has over 19 years of teaching experience and has published research papers in national and international journals. He provided an overview of research with appropriate examples. He stressed on the importance of selecting the research problem and how to conduct research effectively. The guest speaker highlighted the importance of data collection methods and data analysis tools and their application. The significance of research report was also addressed by the speaker during the special lecture. The session was interactive as the guest speaker encouraged the students to pose their queries.
