An overview of Indian Contract Act

On 11 th October 2019, a special lecture was conducted and the resource person was DR.P.ANGARKARNNI, who has hands of experience in teaching law students and she took up regarding law of contracts and its general principles, the essentials of valid contract, its classification and important sections and case laws were also discussed, lecture focused on how agreements or contracts are entered between parties, based on validity, formation and performance …as we knowingly or unknowingly enter into contracts on daily basis but are not aware of the consequences that could be faced in future performance of contract during its breach, an ordinary citizen may not have an idea or solutions regarding such breakage of contracts and always try to get legal opinion in this regard but it was advised that each and very citizen of the country need to know the general principles of contract … either they are entrepreneurs, employers, employees, buyers, sellers, bankers, customers….. that which creates a fiduciary relation ship The lecture was delivered keeping in mind the budding lawyers , how to deal with cases related to contracts or agreements entered by various parties and its legal requirements. As such no sound business would attempt to solve important legal questions effecting its business interest without expert legal advice… in this regard case laws were also highlighted and students cleared doubts , rather it was an interactive session
