Tax Litigation

The special lecture was delivered by Mr.P.Ragu Balan , Assistant Professor, Tamilnadu National Law University, Trichy on the topic " Tax Litigation". He explained about Tax Litigation under the Indian Judicial system and several judicial precedents for resolving tax disputes in the country. He has given the outline of legislative framework and principal pieces of legislation governing both civil and criminal tax litigation. He has also covered assessment , types of assessment under tax , search , seizure and appeal procedure of tax litigation. He has given recent examples and case laws with all these aspects and what are the keys points have to be taken while writing for exams with regarding to Tax Litigation. The session was More informative and the students got benefitted . Finally it had ended up with interaction.
