As a part of special lecture series, Ms. Mariya Joseph, Guest Lecturer from Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai, was invited to give lecture on “Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority”. She made her presence remarkable by handling the overall aspects of IRDA Act, beginning from the types of insurance to the responsibility of the Authority in the Insurance Sector. Her approach towards the subject is less complicated & highly knowledgeable. Furthermore, she threw light upon upcoming types of insurance that has arose due to the infrastructural development.i.e., glass plate insurance.
