A webinar on the Emerging and are-emerging Infections of COVID 19 was organised on 1st of April 2021. The resource person, Dr. Hemavathi, a practitioner of Ayurvedic Medicines explained about the spread of the disease, the initial non-infectious strains and the recent infectious viruses. She gave an account of other disease causing viruses that resulted in different pandemics and the importance of precautionary measures and the role of public health institutions in curbing down the negative impacts of the pandemic on the health and life of people.
