The webinar on development of silk industry in India was organised on 30.12.2020 .The Resource person Mr. Dhilipan M.Sc.,M.Ed., who works in Sericulture department gave an outline about the development of silk industry in India. He discussed about symbols methods to identify the original silk. He also shared his experience about the struggles of sericulture, his role in inspection and needs for the development of sericulture, The graphical representation on working of industries were analysed . The session mainly focused on legal aspects and remedies available to the consumers . The session was informative and interactive.
