CSR Models in India: An overview.
Saveetha School of Law conducted a webinar on CSR Models in India - An overview. It was co ordinated by Student coordinator: A.BEULA CHRISMAK DARIUS, 5th year, BBA LLB (Hons) and Faculty coordinator Asst. Prof. Niranjana. The Webinar timing was between 03:00pm to 03:45pm. The Resource person was Mr. Christopher Jeyaraj.K, who is a Project head at Zion research and consultants. The resource person explained about the corporate social responsibility, approaches in corporate social responsibility, TBL (Triple Bottom Line) Approach of CSR, the social license in corporate social responsibility, Evolution in India, CSR spending in India-An Birds Eye View, and explained about the CSR financial details for the year 2019-2020, and then he explained about CSR initiatives undertaken by the companies in India, Ministry of corporate affairs and corporate governance, CSR compliance, Functions of CSR committee, CSR compliance-Financial reporting to MCA, Benefits of CSR these are things he explained about and concluded by stating that CSR is a unified blend of policies, processes and the Society In which the business operates, as to, the way in which companies self regulate the business processes.
